about politics. it's their point of view, and they're doing their best
for sharing their ideas.

BM: What do you think is the ultimate reason for metal music - when it started and now? Is it any different now and has it changed?
Soheil: yeah it changed alot. I think many metal music lovers have some kind
of nostalgia about 80s. the glorious days of metal. but we have great bands
today too, thought i am not big fan of nu metal music, but who can deny the
progress of bands like nevermore, symphony x and other successful bands that
have their own sound and their own feel. I think whoever wants to find good
music, regardless of time changes, going to find it.

BM: Some countries (eg Malaysia) have banned black metal - do you think they have a right to do this? Do you think it could happen in Iran? Does the fact that it is not socially accepted change the purpose of metal music, for example, does it have more power or less?
Soheil: no they don't. about iran, metal music in iran is already isn't in the
focus of government, they don't like rock music so we can say that it is already
banned here. i don't think the popularity of metal music has anything in common with it's power. take the classical music for example, you can say that it's the least favorite music in the world, but the most demanding and challenging music to perform or write. i think finding a relation between being popular and being true is non-sense.
