Z.Z: What is rock music?

Soheil: I think rock music is something more than bunch of words and sentences and definitions. It's one of those genres that you can think about it in different ways and aspects, from it's message of rebellion to the beauty of technical-side of this music. To me, this kind of music is the biggest part of my life, that I can see the reflection of my emotions, ideas and feelings into it. Whether I listen to a music that someone else plays, or when I play something original. It's all about getting influences and trying to be influent.

Z.Z: How can you describe the Iranian rock music in general?

Soheil: Iranian Rock music is progressing. There's no doubt about it. Though there's lots of pressures and a very little air to breathe. But our rock musicians, they're doing their best to present the best music that they can write and perform to their listeners. And the strange part of the situation is that there's no sunshine in the end of this tunnel. we practice hard, we try to be good performers , whether as a cover band or as an original artist, trying to perform harder tunes and write more mature and well-driven music and then there's nothing to get in the other side. But we do our best and we try to be better everyday that passes on. As I said first rock music in iran is progressing and I think unlike Iranian pop music that most of it is stucked! We're moving forward and trying to find an identity.
