and so on.
Z.Z: How do you see the music industry and its current point
of development?
Soheil: as a matter of fact, I think Iranian music industry is
in the reign of pop music, and no matter what, there's no chance
for more underground and independent music genres like rock,
metal, rap to have a record deal.at least right now. Most of
live performances are in small houses and no official rock
performances are allowed. I think music industry in iran is so
biased and all you can hear is the same stuff again and again
without any chance for new genres, and ideas to become
mainstream.
